Killay Village - Looking West over Clyne Valley.

To the left on the bend is the little church hall with the walled frontage. It was used by the St Hilary parish church
as the National School,
David Isaac began his schooling there in 1888 aged 3. He remembers the use of the
"Welsh NOT" . Then beyond the white cottages on the left is No 527 Gower Road,
built for Howard Adams and
Florence Robina (nee Richards) by Stanley Jones from Knucklas a relative through the marriage of
Sarah Isaac's sister Mary Ann Rees to Daniel Jones of Knighton. To the right is the white cottage
that was the home of the Bennet family. Below it with the high hedge was the home of the late Aubrey Williams
family related through marriage to the Richards of Dunvant.
